THE SHORT ANSWER

Published examples range from a THB 6,000 daytime venue package at Bungsamran to THB 7,800 per person for John's named pond trip on FishingBooker. These are different products, not a price range for every BKKGUY trip.

The examples below were checked on 8 September 2026. They are published venue or marketplace prices, not guaranteed direct-booking quotes. Availability, your dates and the composition of your group still need confirmation.

A venue package and a guided tour are not the same purchase

A venue package buys the stated access and services at that fishing park. An independently arranged guide trip may involve different equipment, transport, guiding time or meal arrangements. Paying more or less only becomes meaningful once those differences are visible.

For example, Bungsamran’s package lists a rental rod, a bait set and eight hours of guiding within the longer session. Its equipment deposit and optional bungalow are separate. John's pond listing includes equipment, lunch, drinks and pickup. Do not transfer one listing’s inclusions to a different fishing trip.

Compare the total for your group

Write down the number of people who will actually fish, as well as anyone coming along to watch. Then ask whether the quote is per angler, per rod, per vehicle or for a private group. Two prices with different units can look deceptively similar.

Also separate time spent fishing from the length of the whole day. A long transfer can be perfectly reasonable for the water you want to fish, but it should not be mistaken for extra fishing time. If you have an evening flight or another booking, give John that deadline before choosing a trip.

  • Confirm the currency, number of anglers and total payable.
  • Ask what transport is covered and where pickup and return take place.
  • Check which tackle, bait, meals and drinks are included.
  • Ask about deposits, equipment liability, cancellation terms and weather changes.
  • Confirm any spectator fees or private seating arrangements before paying.

Budget a wild expedition separately

A wild snakehead expedition is a different planning exercise from a day at a stocked pond. The route, fishing time, travel and any overnight arrangements need to be agreed as one itinerary. It is not sensible to estimate the total by multiplying a pond ticket price.

BKKGUY’s wild snakehead option is aimed at experienced anglers and is described on this site as a two to three day expedition. Ask John for a dated itinerary and an itemised quote. If you find a shorter or differently described marketplace listing, ask which specific trip it represents before treating the prices as comparable.

For a mixed group, spending the whole budget on the most demanding target is not always the most enjoyable choice. A trip everyone can participate in may offer better value than an expedition only one person is prepared for.

Get a useful personal quote on the first enquiry

Send your preferred date, number of anglers, hotel area, experience level and target fish. Mention any children or non-fishing companions and whether you need equipment. These details let John recommend a workable plan instead of replying with another list of questions.

Client filming is part of John's service. Discuss your filming preferences and how the video will be shared when you arrange the trip. A memorable video can add value to the day, but it does not replace checking the practical inclusions.

Contact John directly for a quote tailored to your plans. This is not a promise that direct prices are lower than a booking platform, and the examples here should not be treated as a live availability calendar.

Common questions

Are these BKKGUY’s direct prices?

No. The table identifies each price as an official venue package or a named FishingBooker listing. Ask John for the current direct quote for your own date and group.

Can two anglers share one fishing fee?

Do not assume so. Bungsamran’s published giant-fish package specifies one rod per person with no rod sharing. Other trips may use a different basis, so confirm the arrangement for your booking.

Does the lowest advertised price include transport?

Not necessarily. Compare the written inclusions and the total for your group. A venue price alone does not establish the cost of getting there from your hotel.
